Principal's Post

Dear Triway Families,

It’s amazing to see that the end of the school year is just around the corner. I want to thank you all for the support and patience shown over these past months. We had successes and some challenges, yet despite all, we continued the work that has to be done to ensure the safety and educational needs of our students. Your presence and support make a much stronger working community supporting to achieve the school’s goals and ensuring our students’ are our top priority.

MAP testing is right around the corner for our students. Please make sure that your student's are here for their MAP testing time. We will be sending home the schedule for testing soon. There are a few ways that you can ensure that your students will be doing their best on the test. A few good tips are to allow them time to get a good night’s sleep, eat a well-rounded breakfast, encourage them to drink plenty of water, and be to school on time. We appreciate your assistance in advance during April 27th- May 13th. Go Patriots!

I would like to thank our hard working and caring faculty and staff who have made a huge difference to our students. Their commitment is outstanding and our kids are the beneficiaries. Thank you for providing rich and engaging, well-rounded experiences for our kids and knowing that education is about wonder and fostering curiosity, along with development of social skills so needed to succeed. For these, and a million other things, we are truly grateful.

In closing, I take this opportunity to congratulate all students of Triway Elementary School! I wish you all a very happy, safe and enjoyable rest of the school year. Please be sure to take time as a family to talk, play and READ together.
