The Cost of Admission to all East Newton High School
Adults: $4
Student: $2
Student Admission:
East Newton High School Students:- Free admission to all home games at East Newton High School.
To attend games at Granby or Triway, students must:
- Pay $1 per game, per student
or - Purchase a $20 student season pass, per student
Granby/Triway Students:- Free admission to all home games at their own campus when accompanied by an adult.
To attend games at East Newton High School, students must:
- Pay $1 per game, per student
or - Purchase a $20 student season pass, per student
Staff Admission:
East Newton staff recieve free admission with a valid staff ID. Immediate family members are also admitted free when accompanied by the staff member.
Season Passes:
Adult Season Pass: $40 per person
Student Season Pass: $20 per person(Season passes do no include MSHSAA postseason contests or tournaments)

Interscholastic activities shall supplement the curricular program of the school and shall provide the most worthwhile experiences possible. These experiences shall result in learning outcomes that contribute to the development of the attributes necessary for good citizenship. To the end only can interscholastic activities be justified.
- Respect for Opponents: The opponent should be treated as a guest, greeted cordially upon arriving, given the best possible accommodations, and accorded with tolerance, honesty, and generosity.
- Respect for Officials: Officials should be recognized as impartial arbitrators who are trained to do their job and who can be expected to do it to the best of their ability.
- Knowledge and Understanding of the Rules: Familiarity with the “current” rules of the game and the recognition of their necessity for a fair contest are essential.
- Self-Control: Good Sportsmanship requires one to understand his/her own bias or prejudice and the ability to prevent the desire to win from overcoming rational behavior.
- Appreciation of Skill in Performance: Applause for an opponent’s good performance is a demonstration of generosity and goodwill that should not be looked upon as treason.
- Responsibilities of Students and Parents: Students and parents' frequent role as spectators and their enthusiasm for sports indicate a vital responsibility for good sportsmanship. Their habits and reactions determine the quality of sportsmanship, which reflects upon our school.
Students and parents are expected to:
- Know and demonstrate the fundamentals of sportsmanship.
- Respect, cooperate, and respond to cheerleaders.
- Respect school property and authority.
- Show respect for the opponent.
- Show respect for injured players.
- Respect the judgment and strategy of the coach.
- Respect the judgment of game officials.
- Avoid profane language and obnoxious behavior.
- Not applaud errors or penalties of opponents.
- Not heckle, jeer, or distract opponents. This includes distracting behavior during the shooting of free throws by opposing players.
- Not criticize players, coaches, or officials for a loss.
- Not stomp on bleachers (Also, forbidden by MSHSAA rules).
- Not throw objects onto the playing area or in the bleachers.
- Do not use noisemakers of any kind.
- Not use cheers that taunt or ridicule the opponent, their cheerleaders, or spectators.
- Not boo or show overt displeasure with game activities or game official

The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) is comprised of approximately 724 member schools, both public and private, across the state of Missouri. MSHSAA’s eligibility requirements have been voted on by the member schools and were adopted by your school when it became a MSHSAA member. Your school will also have local school requirements that you must comply with in order to be eligible. Information contained within the document linked below will acquaint you with the essential rules and regulations students and schools must follow in order to maintain and protect high school eligibility. No one requirement is more important than another. Any questions you have concerning these essential requirements or eligibility should be discussed with the school principal or athletic/activity director. The MSHSAA Handbook is also available on the MSHSAA website.

(Effective April 2023) Missouri High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) made considerable changes to the way schools collect pre-participation physicals and medical history forms for their student athletes. Schools are now no longer permitted to collect the preparticipation physical and medical history documents over HIPPA concerns. Schools are now required to collect the new Medical Eligibility Form as completed by a health professional.
Students/parents should follow these steps and complete the paperwork as contained in the document above.
Step 1: Parent/guardian and student complete the medical history form (Pages 1 and 2) in the new preparticipation physical documents. English form. Spanish form.
Step 2: Parent/guardian and student take the completed medical history form and PPE Form (Page 3) to a medical professional (MD/DO/ARNP/PA/DC) at the time of the physical.
Step 3: The medical professional (MD/DO/ARNP/PA/DC) completes and signs the Medical Eligibility Form (page 5). The medical professional retains a copy of both the medical history and PPE form in their office.
Step 4: The completed Medical Eligibility Form only is returned to the athletic office or head coach.
Preparticipation physicals are still good for two years from the date of administration, unless marked as one year by a medical professional. -
