Author Michael Finklea came to Triway to talk to students about writing and books. Mr. Finklea stressed perseverance and to never give up. He submitted his manuscript nine times before it was accepted. Students enjoyed listening to portions of his books as he read aloud. His books were also for sale and he was able to autograph them.
